Definitions
A breakpoint describes the source or destination of a zero-length sequence alteration. These alterations are typically insertions, deletions or translocations according to the GVF specification (see "Breakpoint_detail" in http://sequenceontology.org/resources/gvf.html). Breakpoint coordinates should be provided using classes of the Feature Annotation Location Description Ontology. The class encodes for the "Breakpoint_detail" and "Breakpoint_range" attributes in GVF.
