A plant affection is a set of information describing the situation where several agents compete with a plant. An affecting agent harms the development of an identified plant (the affected plant) by consuming resources necessary for the plant and often limited. Signs of the affection may be visible on the affected plant (retarded growth). The agents responsible for the affection may be brought into contact with the affected plant through one or more vectors.
