Bioaggressor Vector

Definitions
A vector is either a living organism or a non living phenomena which is able of successfully transporting a bioaggressor from an affected organism to a healthy organism, or in the environment or in a consummed resource of this healthy organism. Transport is considered to be effective if it enables the bioaggressor to be maintained in the environment in question. Two categories of vector can be distinguished: biotic vectors, which are living organisms (insects, nematodes, birds, humans, etc.) and abiotic vectors, which are non living phenomena (wind, water, transport vehicle, etc.).
