Definitions
Fasciolosis is a zoonotic infection caused by an internal parasite : Fasciola hepatica, also called "the common liver fluke" and "the sheep liver fluke". It is very uncommon in farm or pet rabbits, but it is possible to see it in rabbits living outdoors that become infected when grazing. Only a slowdown in growth is observed.
